Sermon on Palm Sunday

Sermon by Pastor Mike

Scripture: Luke 19:28-44

Excerpt: We can't really begin to comprehend all of the things that were going on the day of Palm Sunday. The dictionary defines the word 'bitterness' as bitterness and sweetness combined. The second definition 'pleasure mixed with over tones of sadness' is not so literal that each of us can relate as some bitterness of sadness that tainted our joy....

Cut to the Chase

Sermon by Pastor Mike

Scripture: Acts 15:22-35

Excerpt: Sometimes the word of God is pointed. The Bible convicts and convinces. It shows us areas where we need to grow, stretch, change, and develop some new thoughts, new attitudes and new ways of looking at things. If we come to word with open hearts and minds in a regular basis it will change us...

Listen to Audio Sermon "What the World Can´t Give or Take Away"

Excerpt: "PEACE - What the World Can´t Give or Take Away". This is the second Sunday of what is called the Advent Season. The word "advent" means "coming, or arrival," and this is the time of year when we celebrate the coming of Jesus to be our Savior. The Advent celebration focuses on four great themese: Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. These four gifts are the result of Christ´s coming. The second of the four themes of Advent is PEACE. Through the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross we can have peace with God. But on top of that, when we come to know Jesus in a personal way, as a special gift from Him, we also receive the peace of God deep down in our hearts. May you experience this wonderful peace throughout this Advent Season.

Listen to Audio Sermon "Jesus Our Great Coach"

Scripture: Mark 8:1-21

In His hands, He turned them into a team that went out to the world and turned it up-side-down. Through His training, and His teaching, and His encouragement, Jesus put them through a pace for 3 and a half years of training and coaching. One lesson this audo sermon provides is a lesson on how God trains us in our life until we fully get it ...

The Prayers That Reach God's Ears

Sermon by Pastor Mike

Scripture: Matthew 6:9-18

Excerpt: This sermon is about prayers that reach God's ear. You know what not all prayers do. There are times when our prayers bounced off the ceiling. Prayers don't get any farther than the ceiling and when we pray we want to make sure that our prayers reached its intended target and that is God's heart and ear. There are times when our prayers are impeded...

Swimming Against The Current

Sermon by Pastor Mike

Scripture: Matthew 6:1-8

The world's way of acting or thinking is sometimes different from what we believe and stand for as Christians. And we feel like we swimming against the current.

The Power of Words

Sermon by Pastor Mike

Scripture: Acts 5:33-42

Excerpt: Words have great power. As children, we at one occassion stood and say, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me." Words can hurt us far more than sticks and stones... To have people say cruel things about you and cuts deeper and hurts longer... With words some point along the way takes time to forget... Words have the power to both hurt and to heal.
