Ministry to Children and Families

Our trained and background checked Children's Ministry Workers provide age-targeted ministry from six-months-old to 8-years-old during the second half of the Sunday morning worship service.

However, we also love having children of all ages with the congregation during the whole worship service. We encourage every parent to transition their children to be with the whole congregation under the preaching of God's Word, sometime before fourth grade.

Curriculum

We use The Gospel Story Curriculum in our Children's Ministry programming. The Gospel Story Bible by Marty Machowski can be used at home for family devotions to coincide with what your child is learning in the Children's ministry classrooms. Talk to one of our Children's Ministry Workers to learn more.

Catechism

We encourage families to study and memorize the catechism question of the week, taken from the New City Catechism. There is one question for every week of the year, with a longer answer for older children and adults, and a shorter answer for younger children. The pastor reviews past catechism questions with the congregation at the Sunday Evening Prayer Service.

Bible Memory

We also encourage families to study and memorize the weekly Fighter Verse together. The pastor also reviews the weekly Fighter Verse with the congregation at the Sunday Evening Prayer Service.
