We believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and that it is the supreme and final authority in matters both of faith and practice. We are a Bible-believing, Bible-teaching church. Therefore, we use the Bible in all of our teaching and preaching. Every Christian is commanded to "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the Word of Truth" (II Timothy 2:15).

We believe that every Christian is to be a witness for Christ (Acts 1:8). This is the responsibility and privilege of every believer. Therefore, we emphasize personal evangelism and seek to equip all of our members to be prepared to explain how they met the Savior and what He means to them (I Peter 3:15). We seek to be joyful and assertive about our faith without being pushy and obnoxious

We believe that churches are not to be country clubs or resorts but rather, hospitals to care for the wounded and broken. Therefore, we welcome any and all who will come, regardless of color, race, economic status, or social standing in the community. Our invitation is best given in Jesus' own words recorded in Matthew 11:28-30 -"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy , and My load is light."
